Giuseppe Verdi's famous masterwork, Rigoletto, leads us on a chilling whirlwind of revenge that has entranced audiences since its first performance. Sung in Italian with English supertitles.

Don’t miss the opening night reception for Opera San José’s new General Director, Larry Hancock, and new Music Director, Joseph Marcheso, following our first performance of Rigoletto. The reception takes place in the elegant Palm Room of the Sainte Claire Hotel immediately next door to the California Theatre, and includes savories and dessert, prosecco, red and white wine, coffee or tea. $50 per person. Advance tickets only; no sales at the door.
